Sisterhood

Temple Etz Chaim's Sisterhood is a place for making friends while serving the Temple and its community. The purpose is to strengthen family life and Temple life; and to provide a variety of opportunities for involvement both in the Temple and in the community at large. There are several fundraising initiatives that Sisterhood supports. At the end of each year, the funds raised are divided and donated to the community and to the Temple.

2009 End of Year Brunch

Temple Etz Chaim Sisterhood's annual end of the year brunch was a special one. This year we honored Peter Maxon, a Seabee in the Navy. Peter just returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq. Peter and his family live in Plainville, MA. Our Temple Sisterhood adopted his family this year and included them in our activities as well as send care packages to Peter. This year our Sisterhood decided to donate it's 1/3 of the treasury money to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Thank you Peter for all you do for our country, thank you Anne for sharing him with us and thank you sisters for a wonderful year.
